A quick checklist on the requirements to form a company
1. Company name
- The first step is to have a company name, which the proposed name cannot be identical to any existing name.
2. One director
- A minimum of one director, who is at least 18 years old and a singapore citizen/PR.
- If you are a not a local resident, an additional local director will be required.
3. Company secretary
- A minimum of one company secretary has to be appointed within 6 months from incorporation or else there will be penalty up to $1,000.
4. S$1 Share capital
- A minimum of $1 issued share capital is required when you incorporate a company in singapore.
5. Registered office address
- A registered Singapore office address is a must during incorporation.
